I thought I'll start a new post on this subject and would like to invite
people to discuss. I am a complete novice and are here to learn. Please
kindly share knowledge :)
I have lots of questions on these, for example... what is the use of mantra?
chanting or recitation? Some says it acts as a media to focus your mind. I
just spoke to a local guy in his late 20's here in Indonesia the other
night. We talked about a love mantra he once practised (he's married now)
The mantra is written in Kejawen (like most mantra I have in possesion),
that's an ancient javanese and he sure does not know what's he's chanting
when he "bought" the mantra for 7 days fasting and 1 day and night of no
food, water, and sleep. It has work for him, as he focus his attention to
her while quitely chanting and wham, the girl sat next to him and start the
conversation.
According to him, like each "letter" in Al Quran, the mantra of all kind has
it's own guardians, that it's domain will shake whenever a person attempt to
"buy" the mantra with fasting and chant (act like a key to the domain). Then
the guardian will go up or down LOL to seduce the person temping him (most
mantra's here designed for men) to fail during those time required to
fulfill the purchase of mantra from the guardian.
I once got a friend who understand a bit of the languange of the mantra, and
it is written like poetry with many intepretation.
And that the mantra can wear off in time, like a skill that needs to be
practiced. The mantra needed to be memorized, and the energy that needed to
be nurtured.
Another post from my local board commented on one mantra, that before you go
about "purchasing" a mantra, or have it transferred to you (some can do
this, but it does not last long - average a week, max. a year) is to have
your aura photograph, before and after. If it is burning red, then you got
it!
Well, that's just a story for now. Gotta find it out for sure.
A thought of mine is that those ancient people make up this stories of the
mantra keeper and other requirement to get the person buying it to have
faith, and to succeed. Like a media to gain more focus and concentrate ones
will. There's a lot of contradicting factors and ideas here. A lot to
discuss.
What you folks think about it?
I'll talk more about Javanese ancient mantra later if it is of our mutual
interest.
